Self-Guided Cycling
For more independent travellers, this 8 day/7 nights is similar to our guided 10 day ride linking the two great cities of Prague and Vienna. Skirting the Czech and Austrian border, this tour takes you to Cesky Krumlov, the heart of Bohemia, but not before starting off in vineyards and chateaux complexes of Southern Moravia. You will cycle across farmland, on beautiful bike-only forest tracks, into river valleys and across pond landscapes. The tour takes in portions of the Greenways, an area of parks, protected wildlife biospheres and undeveloped countryside that was designed in the early 90’s.

The landscape changes quickly as you cycle through the heavily forested and beautiful Podyji National Park, past the last remaining Iron Curtain fence, bunkers and tiny villages. Protected wetlands, chateaux, castles and minute and picture perfect medieval towns make up the route. Each day is varied, accompanied by great food and the world’s best beer.
